How the maturity check works
The check covers seven areas that investors, banks and auditors look at. Each answer scores 0 to 3 points. This gives a score per area and an overall score from 0 to 100, with every area counting equally.
The levels: below 40 points “Foundations missing”, 40 to 59 “Developing”, 60 to 79 “Solid”, 80 and above “Investor-ready”. We derive your next three steps from your weakest answers, liquidity first.

At what score is a finance function investor-ready?
From 80 out of 100 points. At that level, close, reporting, planning and data room are in a state where a funding round, an exit or a bank meeting runs without firefighting. It matters that no single area lags far behind.
What should I do if the result is weak?
Start with the three steps from your result, liquidity first. If you lack the time or experience in-house, an interim CFO or hands-on support for a few months helps. The needs check shows which model fits.
Are my answers stored?
